Nuts About Banana-Nut-Chocolate Chip Quick Bread

The title says it all…here’s the outcome and yes, this one tastes as good as it gets!

Bread - cooked in pans outside

Super quick, super easy bread recipe from Eating Well  is definitely a “keeper” for the recipe file. What really “makes” this so tasty and different is the preparation of the bananas – instead of being mashed and mixed into the wet ingredients, they are diced (we sliced them to leave bigger chunks in the mix) and added toward the end of the mixing.

Since this version makes three mini loaves, you can freeze one for later – that is, in case there are any leftovers….(Quite the bonus, since the holidays are just peeping around the corner).
