What Are Our Kitchen Inventions?

Baked Pears - Ready To Eat

Welcome to Our Kitchen Inventions, where I absolutely enjoy cooking for Us and our friends – taking chances with using an idea or maybe even an actual recipe, then substituting ingredients based on what’s fresh, seasonal, and available in our ‘fridge or pantry, and enjoying (mostly…!) the outcomes.

He is really into photography, with a camera in hand on most occasions, and the ability to make what I cook look fabulous. We are a match made in blog heaven, right?

So….we decided to combine the two, and share the Inventions that come out of our Kitchen.  Our aim is to help you make fast, flavorful, and healthy dishes – all while having fun in the kitchen. Hopefully, you will find these dishes to be creative and enjoyable.

So, take a read through the blog, come back for a visit soon, and tell me if there is a dish we can make – just for you!

    • We love to eat what’s on hand in the pantry and freezer. We’ve been eating our “fresh” strawberries from last year for last several months. Easy to freeze when plentiful, easy to eat when the fruit is all from Peru, Mexico, and lordy knows where else, right?!? I’ll be sure to take a read over at your blog, too. Thanks for stopping by and your comments!

Just wanted to thank you guys for including me in your dinner Saturday night with Christi and Terry. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company. What great entertainers you are. Your house is beautiful…..are you adopting anyone?!?!?!
Again, thanks for a great evening. I’ll be trying some of these recipes – especially the raspberry dessert.

Very interesting. So glad Joann forwarded the page to me. Of course, we are interested in the Italian foods as well. I am anxious to try the banana oatmeal bread recipe. Sounds scrumptious.

    • Hi – More Italian Recipes and Photos to come! If only there were more snow days in Atlanta, we’d have more time for blogging, eh??!! Let me know how you like the Banana Bread once you try it…it’s great toasted lightly with (of course….) cream cheese. Also, crumbled on top of oatmeal with some Greek Yogurt & strawberries on top…as Rachel Ray says “Yummo!” – thanks for stopping by!
