When One Word Says It All

Ah…Snow Days…remember how exciting those were as a child? Not so exciting now as an adult, as you might have heard about the happenings in Atlanta this past week – when the entire area (of 6.5 plus million people) shut down for business, roads became clogged, icy, then impassable for hours, and motorists remained stranded overnight in their cars (or they abandoned said car which ran out of gas after 8 hours plus in favor of walking home in the dark), while many school children had “sleep overs” at their schools, since the buses could not deliver them home….yikes is right! I’ll just stop there with the visual, ok?

Here’s the view from our front door – doesn’t that tree look like it’s decorated with holiday lights the way it sparkles?

Luckily, we remained safely at home in our warm abode, cooking our favorite comfort foods, drinking hot chocolate, and watching the snow fall (which was very pretty from our vantage point).

Not often do we have icicles on the grill cover.

Next day, here’s the word that says it all for us: GROW! We are indeed ready for Spring.

Grow in the Snow

Hope you and yours are all safe and warm!

I thought about you when I heard the latest about the weather in USA. I hope there is some warmer weather coming up.
