This time of year, the store windows seem to be decorated to entice us to wander in, explore, and make a purchase for those we love (and ourselves, of course!)
BUT: only in Italy would the local hardware store in Lucca have a beautifully decorated tree in the front window to inspire the inner “Do It Your-Selfer” in each of us….

Love that! I have a photo of a store window in Florence that did a tree with silver shovels which was outstanding.

Every store window in all of Italy is beautifully decorated this time of year…we have several more to share that include chocolate…so pretty!! You wonder who thinks up the “shovel” theme for a tree, right?!!
