Beautiful Sunsets in Italy

Here in Atlanta, it has been rather cool, overcast, rainy, and dreary lately. Then, this week, sunshine and warm. Next week, below freezing yet again. Ahh…surely that means Spring is just around the corner, right? Before you know it, we’ll be complaining about the drought.

Since we are in the month of March, and the days are beginning to get a bit longer, I asked the Hubby to select some of his favorite photos of the dramatic sunsets that he has captured while traveling in Italy. This will help us remember the beauty of Spring and Summer.

Enjoy special moments in time – so well captured in these shots. (For even more lovely photos, be sure and visit this website to see Hubby’s works. Check back often, as I know his wife is always nagging him to add more photos…,…oh, that’s me….LOL!)

  1. Oh how beautiful but that 3rd one is my favorite. Your husband got a wonderful eye & you really should nag him to get those enlarged & framed.
Can you believe we’re getting more snow here tomorrow? I was just thinking how the Boston Marathon is one month away & last year they gave the runners passes to use this year if they chose not to run because we had a record breaking heat wave. Yes mid-April last year I had fans on & was wearing a sun dress.

    • Thanks! I’ll let him know your kind thoughts. Hubby really loves his photography hobby! It’s hard to have a favorite…always so pretty.

Hope you weather the storm…bad winds with some tornados here in GA last night. All we got was a TON of rain and winds, tiny hail, and tornado sirens sounding for an hour on and off. Scary! AH…Spring in ATL! LOL!

Crazy weather is everywhere…Global warming, anyone?

      • Tornadoes! Yikes, get down to the root cellar girl. Your husband really has an eye for photography & it’s a perfect combination w/your recipes.

        • OK, so I know this is really weird, BUT I LOVE the sound of the tornado siren during the rain and wind storm…it’s kinda creepy in a “modern technology” meets Nature kinda way. There’s really nothing you can do about the storm so not sure just what those sirens expect from me. I always go open the front door and look out to see what’s coming…anywho, I was just cooking up a little “storm” LOL when this happened…sometimes I just make myself laugh!! P.S. We live on a house built on a slab, so no ducking for cover here..!

        • I can see you cooking while the sirens are sounding. Those sirens remind me of those Homeland security warnings – yellow, orange, red…what the heck are you supposed to do about it anyway?
