The “I am SO glad Hubby Made This” Chocolate Sauce

Choc - Ready to eat

Ms. Strawberry, please meet your new friend, Mr. Chocolate Sauce.

Why, you make such the lovely couple!

My blog friend, Kellie, over at Food To Glow blog, posted this luscious looking Quick Chocolate Sauce recipe just the other day.

One look, and I just KNEW it was going over those strawberries in the ‘fridge….you know the ones:  their relatives had just made their debut last weekend on top of our French Toast.

We used fresh strawberries, and soy milk in this version. Plus, grated some dark chocolate and added that at the end of the cooking. Velvety smooth, with chocolate richness indeed.

Choc - Grated

Since cooking with friends was on our Saturday night menu, this seemed rather serendipitous. Just the thing to eat once we finished our Pork Stuffed with Rosemary, Garlic, and Pesto, don’t you think?

Thanks, Kellie, for making us not only eat a fruit serving, but to also lick our bowls clean.

No need to leave behind any of that Chocolate Sauce as leftovers, right? It’s kinda like that thing people refer to as “Leftover Wine”……somehow, that also seems so wrong…!

Choc - Way too much

    • Thanks! It is SO easy, and smells just like we are there…bought some fennel pollen last year in Florence at Conti in Mercado Centrale, and use it on pork..SO good, and the flavor is amazing. Worth the crazy price we paid, though.

  3. How decadent does that look! That one looks like a real winner & of course it would be wrong, wrong, wrong to let any go to waste. Funny because I just posted a pork roast but I think I’m liking yours better now.
