Small and Learning It All – Italian Style!

While at Trattoria Roberto in Florence, Italy for dinner, we had the total pleasure of sitting next to Miriam’s table.

At almost 2 years old, Miriam is learning to experience all there is to enjoy about her life in Italy.

Out came the first course, and Miriam giggled with delight as the antipasti was placed in front of her. The whole “use the fork” thing was so much fun to watch. Obviously, she did not have a problem mastering the art of enjoying good food.

As the wine was poured for her Mom and Dad, Miriam grabbed her glass of water with gusto. Without hesitation, she says “cin-cin” and clinks glasses with the family.

We all burst out in laughter to see little Miriam  had mastered the art of the toast! Salute to Miriam, for sure.

Did we mention what a good tipper she is?

So, to Miriam and her family, here’s to good memories, laughter, and watching Miriam take great pleasure in life!

  1. Lovely! We so enjoy it too when our Grandbabies raise their plastic beakers and say ‘Cheers’ while clunking glasses with us all ! 🙂

Just wanted to clue you that I had a hard time getting into your site on this post. I get the heads up via email & usually click on the “comment” button to get to the post but on this one it kept coming up “page not found”. Every now & then I run into this on some blogs on WordPress but never had that problem w/yours. ???
