On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!!! To Italy, That Is

The day is very near – yes, we leave for our Thanksgiving Holiday in Italy on Thursday. So, today will be a “one picture” kinda day for me, as packing must be completed. Like Santa, I’ll be checking that list twice!

Here is a memory of Italy for you: The train stations are always an amazing place of chaos, order, frenzy, and calm….quite a busy place as people from around the world go about their journey.

Imagine my disappointment when, instead of the Clack Clack Clack of the train  schedule’s numbers and times flipping over and updating, we saw this NEW modern train schedule. No clack clack…no noise….just an electronic system like any other place in the world…

As many of my friends know, I totally embrace change…unless, of course, it impacts me!

  1. Oh, I’m so jealous but I was wondering when you were heading over there. You have a terrific time (of course you will). I remember our first encounter with the trains but people were so helpful that we finally figured it all out.

Have a great time. I hope the heavy rain and flooding doesn’t affect you.
