Genoa’s Food Market – I Think It’s Love…

Yes, I Could Eat ALL of That Fresh Cheese – Just Me and A Fork

For some odd reason, I somehow missed the giant-sized food emporium market in Genoa, Italy on our previous visits.

“How dare let that happen”, you ask?!?!

Well, we are just not quite sure…..must have been so jet lagged that our sense of direction was off. Or maybe, we did not see all of the loveliness that lives under that roof. Or, maybe – just maybe – the siren song was not loud enough to pull us like puppets through those open doors. (I think I like that answer the best!).

So, without further fretting over past missed opportunities, here in all of its’ glory is the Mercado in Genoa, Italy… Perfetto!

I just love visiting the markets. I’m always amazed at the selections…especially all the different mushrooms that are so plentiful.

  3. I have a question – how is it that they always make their displays so appealing? They just make you want to buy everything in sight don’t they?
